As health officials learn more about COVID-19, the overall consensus is to be aware, be prepared, stay informed and practice healthy habits and preventable actions:
- Wash your hands often
- Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
- Avoid contact with sick people
- Stay home if you are sick
- Cover mouth/nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
In addition, if you feel sick with a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing or if you have been in contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19, please call your healthcare provider and notify them of your symptoms and any recent travel. Your healthcare provider will determine if you need to be seen in the office and if so, will provide special instructions to prevent exposing others.
The Village of Stockton will continue to update this COVID-19 webpage as additional information and guidance is obtained by health officials.
